Free Home Security System Continued Do you need a home security system but just do not have the money to purchase one? There are some security system companies that are offering free security systems. The catch is that you have to hire their monitoring service for a period of two or three years at a monthly fee, usually around $29 to $39 per month. This may be the answer for those who can not afford a security system for their homes. You want your family to be safe when in their home and a good security system can help you accomplish that. With the rise in crime and all of the terrorist threats we face today, we need to do what we can to keep our families safe. If we can not keep them safe in their own homes, they are not safe anywhere. Security is a real concern for us all today, not just the countries where there is a battle going on. Do your research to find out which security companies offer a free security system, then compare their contracts to see which ones are the cheapest and do not have any fine print that will cause problems after the contract is signed. You do not want to be stuck in a contract you cannot afford or one which has other obligations you were unaware of before you signed the agreement. There is a need for a security system in your home but not with a company that will cheat you and not have a good service or maintenance agreement with their system. Usually the free system will be maintained and fixed by the company because it really does not belong to you, it still belongs to the company. You are just paying a monthly fee for their monitoring service. You can purchase a simple alarm security system for around $49 and up so if you do not want to sign an agreement for a two or three year contract for a free security system, get the alarm system. It alone will deter intruders from your home and with a few deadbolt locks, security yard signs, window and door security decals, a motion detector light or two, you have a good start to a complete security system. These security devices are cheap and easy to install and will not break the budget. Add a device or two each payday or so and before you know it you have a complete state of the art security system without the two or three year contract attached to it. Remember, there is seldom anything free in this life and when the company says something is free, you can bet the price of the free objects is embedded in the contract.
