Discount Herbal Supplements
You can find discount herbal supplements online and in catalogs. You can go online and find a company such as Botanic Choice or Rexall and find discounted herbs to buy. You can also request a catalog from most supplement companies and they will gladly send you one so you can look at it at your leisure and decide what you want or need. Many supplement companies have been in business for years and have ongoing discounts on some of their products on a regular basis to keep customers coming back to order from them. This is just good business. There is a big market for supplements and a lot of competition for the companies and distributors so they have to do what they can to stay in business. Having a good relationship with the customers is also a plus as well as a good guarantee on the products. The supplement business is a billion dollar business and it takes a lot of companies to meet the demand. More and more people are turning to supplemental herbs everyday because they have come to see the benefits of them. Many people can not afford prescription drugs and do not have health insurance so they are taking supplements instead. Many people take the herbs because they believe in them. They believe that they are much safer to use and they have little or no side effects. Unlike drugs that have possible side effects and in many cases the side effects can be very serious if not deadly.
Once in a while there will be a supplement that has serious side effects and has to be taken from the market. In 2006 the FDA had the federal court ban ephedra in the United States because there were reports of strokes, heart attacks and even some deaths from the use of ephedra products. In 1997, Fen-Phen was taken off of the market because it caused serious health problems. While Phentermine (1ž2 of Fen-Phen) was later allowed back on the market, Fenfluramine was not. So you can see that both supplements and drugs can be pulled if they cause serious side effects. It is a little strange tho, both of these products were used as weight loss products and there are many drugs still being prescribed by doctors that while they may fix one health problem, they may destroy your kidneys or liver or cause heart problems, etc. It is not known what guidelines the FDA or government goes by but it seems that they decide to pick a product out and do not let up on it until they get it banned while other are still destroying bodies and nothing is done about it.
