Does Trim Spa Really Work
Does Trim spa really work? That question is getting many answers. A few positive and many negative answers. There are a few testimonials on the Trimspa website that states the Trimspa weight loss pill works. But there are other testimonials elsewhere online and lawsuits and complaints which dispute the positive claims. The company is accused of making false claims about the product. Some claim that it does not work and others say they lost a few pounds but immediately gained it back, plus some, when the stopped taking it. On January 4, 2007 of this year, the Federal Trade Commission announced that the marketers of the Trimspa weight loss pill agreed to pay a settlement of $1.5 million for a FTC complaint stating the company made unsupported claims in advertisements and commercials. The company was prohibited from making any more false claims about health safety, side effects, etc. about Trimspa. The claims have to be proven by reliable scientific evidence. The Trimspa company labels their bottles of pills but with only some of the products ingredients. It does not tell the exact amount of each ingredient and it refuses to list all of the ingredients claiming they do not want their formula stolen. If the company is having lawsuits filed against them and negative testimonials about their products, it is very unlikely that someone would want to steal their formula. That is what patents are for is to protect the inventor. Is there another reason they are keeping their ingredients a secret? One can only surmise.
The Trimspa Company was sliding downhill in their sales for a while then Anna Nicole Smith was hired by the company as their spokesperson in 2005 after she made the claim to have lost 69 pounds in eight months time. After she became the spokesperson, their sales soared for a while. Then the lawsuits and complaints started coming in and the sales has been falling again. Some feel that with the death of Anna Nicole on February 8, 2007 and the lawsuits about false advertising combined that the company may be on its way out. It is thought that it may not recover from their financial troubles this time. Some say that their advertising strategies was the only thing that kept them going before, it wasn’t the products themselves. It was also learned that Anna Nicole Smith was also taking some other aids to help her lose weight at the same time she was taking Trimspa. She made statements about it to the press. There are many reported side effects of the Trimspa weight loss pill so many people can not take it. It is a general rule that all natural supplements do not have any side effects or if so, not anything serious but Trimspa does. Makes one wonder what the other secret ingredients are?
