Has Ephedra Like Original Trimspa Has the Trimspa diet pills today contain ephedra like the original Trimspa? The answer is no. Ephedra was banned in the United States and the Trimspa company replaced the ephedra with hoodia gordonii. Hoodia is a very popular natural herb which is in great demand for those wanting to lose weight because it works well by itself to aid in weight loss. It is a cactus like succulent which is found in the Kalahari Desert in South Africa. The hoodia gordonii was lab tested on rats and humans and in every case study the subject lost weight and some claimed to have increased energy as well. There are no known side effects from the use of Hoodia Gordonii. The other ingredients in the Trimspa diet pills are cocoa extract, green tea extract, citrus naringin, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, chromium, glucomannan, glucosamine, HCL, and vanadium. The possible side effects from the use of the Trimspa diet pill are migraines, chest pain, pain in the knees, elbows, wrists, and lower abdomen, vomiting, trouble breathing, trouble swallowing, swelling of the throat or esophagus which may cause choking if not enough water is taken with the pill, restlessness, jitters, chromium toxicity, heart palpitations, increased blood glucose, anxiety, insomnia, sensitivity to caffeine, and allergic reaction to shellfish. There may be other side effects not yet reported. The Trimspa company lists some of their ingredients on the labels of each bottle of diet pills. They do not list the amount of each ingredient so it is not known how much of each ingredient is in each pill. The company claims that it is because they do not want someone to steal their formula. There are a few ingredients the company is keeping a secret. They do claim that all of the ingredients are all natural so the diet pill is not controlled by the FDA. There are no drugs in the pills but they can still cause serious side effects for some people. It is recommended that the daily dosage not be more than six pills a day. The average is 4 pills a day. The pills should be taken with a full glass of water to prevent choking. If you are allergic to shellfish you should not use the pills. Many people have claimed that the Trimspa pills did nothing for them and they did not lose any weight. Others say they lost a few pounds but gained the weight back plus more after they stopped taking the pills. Some Trimspa customers say they had to stop taking the pills because of side effects they had while taking Trimspa. There are some all natural weight loss options you can choose if you do not want or can not take the Trimspa pills. All Text Copyright © Safety2005.org |
