How Safe Is Trimspa
Some are wondering just how safe Trimspa weight loss pills really are. There have been lawsuits cropping up in the past few years and the company is keeping some of it’s ingredients a secret and not telling how much is in the ingredients they do mention on their labels. The company uses the excuse that they do not want anyone to steal their formula but no one knows for sure if this it the real reason. There are a few people who have testimonials on the Trimspa website that claim the weight loss pills have helped them tremendously. There are also the lawsuits to consider, plus the reported side effects, and there is also the negative testimonials reported on various websites and forums. Some report that they used Trimspa weight loss pills and got little or no positive results from them. Some claim to have lost a few pounds, then gained them back plus more after they stopped taking th pills. Other reports claim to have lost 20 or more pounds but too, they gained the weight back after they stopped taking the pill. There are lawsuits filed against the company and Anna Nicole Smith for making false claims about the Trimspa pills. Anna Nicole Smith was hired as their spokesperson in 2005 and continued up until her death on February 8, 2007. She had made the claim that she lost 69 pounds in about 8 months time. While it may be true that she lost the weight, it was discovered that she had used other aids to help her lose weight at the same time she was using Trimspa. It is not known if she was still taking Trimspa at the time of her death. The Federal Trade Commission fined the marketers of Trimspa and they were ordered by the Federal Trade Commission to pay a settlement of $1.5 million in response to the false claims. Trimspa was further ordered not to make any more false claims or any claims unless they could prove that they were true.
The Trimspa company was in dire straits before Anna Nicole Smith came on board and was in their ads and commercials. She helped boost their sales for a period of time before the law suits began to surface. Her testimonial and other false claims were made and some purchased the product believing Trimspa could help them. If it helped Anna Nicole, why couldn’t it help them? Well it seems that it didn’t so some filed law suits against the company and Anna Nicole. It is believed that some lawsuits are still pending. It is also believed by some that with the death of Anna Nicole, the company may be on its way out. Sales have been falling since the lawsuits began and continue to fall.
