Trim Spa Direction
Some people are wondering in which direction the Trim Spa company is headed. They are hurting financially because of lack of sales in the past three years. Back in 2003 they were headed for bankruptcy or closure, because of slow sales, when they heard that Anna Nicole Smith had lost 69 pounds in about 8 months while taking the Trimspa diet pills. Trimspa hired Anna Nicole in October, 2003 as their spokesperson. Anna appeared in Trimspa commercials and banner ad campaigns and the sales of Trimspa diet pills soared. This lasted for about two years. Then the lawsuits began to surface and Anna Nicole and Trimspa were named in the lawsuits. Anna Nicole’s name was the first one named in the suits because she was the spokesperson. It was also learned that Anna Nicole took other aids to help her lose weight at the same time she was taking the Trimspa diet pills. million for false advertising and making statements about the pills that could not be proven with scientific evidence. Trimspa agreed to pay the fine on January 4, 2007 but said that this was not an admission of guilt. They just wanted the Federal Trade Commission to stop the investigation of the company that had been going on for about two years. The company blames the negative publicity for the lack of sales. On the other side of the coin, people are blaming the failure on the products which do not work.
There are many reported side effects from the Trimspa diet pills. The company lists some of the ingredients on the labels of the pill bottles but not the amount of each ingredient in each pill. They also keep several ingredients a secret so it is not known if the secret ingredients might cause severe harm to some or not. They company says the secrets are to keep people from stealing their formula. There are many people who have used the Trimspa diet pill who say the pills did nothing for them. Others claimed that they lost a few (2 to 5) pounds then gained them back plus more after they stopped taking the diet pills. Some others reported that they experienced side effects and had to stop taking the diet pills. There has been a lot of negative publicity about the Trimspa diet pills. There are a few positive reviews on the Trimspa website but the negative reports outnumber the positive ones. Some people are wondering what the future of the company is or if they even have a future. Some feel that the company will not last long and are headed for bankruptcy. Only time will tell for sure.
