Trimspa Commercial If you have seen a Trimspa commercial before, there is a good chance you saw Anna Nicole Smith in it. Anna Nicole was the spokesperson for Trimspa from 2003 up until her untimely death on February 8, 2007, Before Anna Nicole became the spokesperson for Trimspa, they company had just about reached rock bottom. Their sales had decreased to the point that the future of the company was looking bleak. The commercials and ads that Anna was in helped the company’s sales soar for a while. Their sales were on the rise again. Then the lawsuits and complaints began to rear their heads and the company was again in trouble because of all of the negative publicity. The lawsuits accused Anna Nicole, the Marketing company , and Trimspa of making false statements and false advertising. They could not back their statements with scientific facts. There has been no scientific studies done on the Trimspa weight loss pills. On January 4, 2007, the marketers for Trimspa agreed to pay the Federal Trade Commission a settlement of $1.5 million in response to a fine the FTC imposed on Trimspa for their false claims. For the past 3 years the Trimspa company’s sales have been declining and many feel that it is because of the false advertising and the product failing to help people as it states it will. It is also thought that with the death of Anna Nicole and the lawsuits and bad publicity, they company may be on it’s way out. They are heading for the bottom of the pit yet again. They may not be able to climb out of it this time. In many reviews from customers of the Trimspa weight loss pill it shows that the Trimspa pills are not doing for people what they expected them to do. There are a few positive reviews on the Trimspa website but there are many negative reviews elsewhere on the internet. Some say they lost a few pounds but gained them back plus more after they stopped using the pills. Another one claimed to have 20 pounds in 2 to 3 weeks but they got the jitters from taking it so they stopped and gained it all back plus more. This person claimed that if you planned on losing weight and keeping it off, you would have to keep taking the diet pill. One person mentioned that they used Trimspa for a few weeks and it helped them lose weight and suppress their appetite, then it stopped working so they stopped taking it. These are just a few of the many examples of disappointed customers of the Trimspa weight loss pill. Some could not use it because of the many side effects. All Text Copyright © Safety2005.org |
